NATE ALLEN

Co-Director

Nate Allen is an award-winning writer and director from the Boston area, now studying and working in Savannah, Georgia. His films tend to use horror as a lens to explore personal growth, identity, and acceptance. Nate is driven by the belief that horror is not just about fear, but about revealing truth through discomfort. When not directing his own films, Nate works as an assistant director and Production Coordinator on SCAD thesis films and independent productions.

PRESTON BOWMAN

Co-Director

Preston is a New York and Savannah-based filmmaker who is passionate about storytelling and bringing ideas to life on screen. With a background in the industry, having grown up on sets as an actor, he developed a deep appreciation for film from an early age. Now, as a Film and Television Production major with a minor in Advertising, He’s focused on crafting meaningful narratives that connect with audiences on an emotional level.

ETHAN MANGUM

PRODUCER

Ethan Mangum is a producer from Charlotte, NC. He is most intrigued by immersive filmmaking - creating a specific world that characters can live in and make real is what he values most about cinema. Since attending SCAD, he has produced and created films such as Just a Friend, A Fire in the West, and World of Hurt.

BELLA BLOOM

PRODUCER

Bella Bloom is a filmmaker and Producer from Washington D.C. Starting out as a Model and Actress, Bella transitioned into Producing, now working on a number of short and feature films, including Senior Theses and the SCAD Acting Showcase.

AVA FROMMELL

Assistant Director

Ava Frommell is a multifaceted filmmaker and production designer based in Denver, Colorado, and Savannah, Georgia. As a Film and Television major at Savannah College of Art and Design, Ava has worked on dozens of short films in a variety of roles. Ava enjoys learning new skills, and excels at adapting to different positions by bringing creativity and technical skill to every aspect of the filmmaking process. Previously, as a Stagecraft and Design major at Denver School of the Arts, Ava led creative aspects of numerous productions. She focused on lighting and scenic design, but also has experience with stage management and costuming. Ava’s passion for storytelling has grown through her experiences in film and theater, and she aims to use her skills in collaboration, attention to detail, project execution, and creative storytelling to craft narratives which improve lives and inspire deeper thought and emotion.

ANDREW WEIR

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Andrew Weir is an award-winning cinematographer from Michigan, now studying at SCAD. With his love of telling stories through light, Andrew has shot and Directed many short and feature films, such as 1-800-He-Heals, Sherry vs. The Devil, Learning Curve, and Waves. Weir tends to work within a dramatic realism style which helps him push narratives to expand their storytelling through cinematography.

VICTORIA BURTT

HEAD OF MARKETING

Victoria Burtt is a graphic designer and advertising specialist, having run the marketing for several short films including 1-800-He-Heals, WavesDogma, Wanted, Canary, and How to Get Back to the Forest. She is deeply interested in the ways design and film work together to create impactful results. Victoria uses marketing as a method of not only promoting a film, but also to create accurate, purposeful branding.
